I'm not sure if I got you correctly but I assume you want to do the trek from Subramanya to Yedakumari and back.. If that's not the case, pls do correct me. To get to Subramanya, you will have to take a bus for Mangalore. Subramanya is on the Mangalore highway route. You'll have to go from Bangalore to Hassan to Sakleshpura.
